Audi S4

The S4 first hit the streets in 1991 as a high performance variant of the A4. The first generation S4 featured a turbocharged 2.2 liter 20 valve in line five engine, all wheel drive, and optional five or six speed manual transmission. In 2001 the Audi S4 Avant was introduced, which was one of five variants of the S4 (sedan, avant, wagon, convertible and cabriolet). The fourth generation, the one we see today, has a modified 3.2 V6 FSI engine, providing ample power to the vehicle. It also has narrow headlamps, new tail lamps and quad exhaust tips. In 2010 or 2011 a new generation of this car is scheduled to be released.
